Since the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, a sign of the ministry of the Holy Spirit is that of prophecy, visions and dreams (Acts 2-17-18). The gift of prophecy is a ministry of the Holy Spirit that we may hear from God for one another. Who may prophesy? As the apostle Paul revealed to the first- Century Church, “You may all prophesy” (1 Cor. 14:31).
Paul gives a simple definition of prophecy telling us “But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort” (1 Corinthians 14:3). In simple terms prophecy is “hearing” from God and speaking what you hear in order to build up, encourage and comfort someone.
The “Gift of Prophecy” course is designed to encourage and equip you to recognize God’s voice. Our goal is to lay a foundation with the instructions to equip you to minister prophetically that reveals the heart of the Father to another.
