GOD HAS A DREAM – JOEL 2:28 PROPHECY

More than 2,800 years ago, God inspired the prophet Joel to record His dream, telling us that in the last days, “And it shall come pass that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy” (Joel 2:28).

This dream took place on the day of Pentecost with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit,  “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4).

Peter, seeing the confusion by those that heard them speak in their own language the wonderful works of God, stood up to explain the following, “You are witnessing the promise of God spoken off by the prophet Joel,”

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and daughters shall prophesy” (Acts 2:17).

The dream of God’s heart is to pour out His Spirit upon ALL flesh.

That is every male and female, the young and old and upon every nation.

Everywhere we are seeing prophetic grace increasing on God’s sons and daughters. Now the task is at hand to equip people to hear Gods voice and unpack their prophetic gifts and how to use them.

Now tell your neighbor, “You are the manifestation of God’s dream.”

The “Basic Gift of Prophecy” training captures Eastgate’s desire to respond to God’s dream.  During the following sessions you will experience activation-based learning in a safe and relational family environment.

At the end of this course, we will be forming prophetic ministry teams.Ministering in teams builds teamwork as well as to provide a means to bless others with the gift of prophecy.

In Conclusion

Another outpouring of the fire of God’s Spirit is upon us. Every outpouring is accompanied with prophecy, visions and dreams.

Now is the time to prepare. We can best prepare by growing in our ministry gifts while drawing closer to the Lord to be His voice that reveals His heart.

Who May Prophesy?  As the apostle Paul tells us, “For you may all prophesy” (1 Cor. 14:31).
