God is anointing His people with fresh oil. King David proclaimed, “But my horn you shall exalt like the horn of a wild ox: I shall be anointed with fresh oil” (Psalms 92:10). A portal is open for a fresh anointing with of the joy of the Lord to empower you to fulfill your mission according to His purpose “On earth as in heaven.”
Let’s look at the qualifying factors. Jesus said, “Many are called but few are chosen” (Mt. 22:14). The chosen are those that have answered the call. Although the gifts and callings are without repentance, some factors that determine the power of our anointing, authority and promotion: is determined by how close we walk with God, our obedience, humility and especially our walk of love.
The Spring of 2017 found prophetic voices revealing the Lord taking His people through a season of purging and pruning. It was admonished that if we allowed the Spirit to do a deep work in our lives, the Lord would promote us in the next season.
I answered the call. During the next 5 months, I faced personal issues including toxic thinking, faulty belief systems, areas of deception and heart issues that needed a cleansing. It was hard at times and even lonely. But in the end bore fruit with an increase of the indwelling presence of the Spirit and a closer walk with Jesus.
The process to maturity in Christ is a process. Every trial and tribulation, every purging and cleansing, leads to hosting more of the light of His glorious presence. Being filled with increasing grace and truth requires walking the pathway that takes us from glory to glory. It is written, “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day (Proverbs 4:18).
I was given the scripture, “For thus says the Lord, God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest shall you be saved: in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength (Is 30:15). In essence, I found a deep state of rest (a very safe place in Jesus) and because of the inner cleansing, a quietness within with newfound confidence. I sense I am standing on solid rock under my feet.
Since then, the Lord has said to me daily, “Watch what I do!” In brief I will only say that my finances has doubled, the tent pegs of our ministry is enlarged, favor is everywhere with gates of opportunities opened and past relationships restored or being strengthened in the bond of love. The wind of the Spirit is truly blowing on our behalf. I can’t wait each day to see what He will do next!
The best part is that I am anointed with fresh oil. I do not wish to bring honor to myself, but to the Lord. Likewise, I do not desire to walk in false humility denying who I am as a new creation in Christ. My identity is not based on my gifting nor the anointing, reputation or titles, but simply as a beloved Son of God. It is my quest as a prophetic minister and lover of God and His people, to convey what I have learned that others may also run. I thus share the following as a testimony of God’s grace and His faithfulness.
The Increase of joy
The joy of the Lord is increasing. At times we experience a strong flow of the release of life giving, freedom shaking, deliverance healing presence of the Lord’s joy. Not only during ministry meetings, but His joy may erupt from within at anyplace at any time. If you hang out with me, no place is safe. Truly, we are vessels that contain rivers of living waters.
While this isn’t anything new, it is increasing in power and intensity. Just as there is an anointing for ministering the gifts of the Spirit, God can anoint you with the oil of gladness. This is the joy of gladness that God anointed Jesus with,
You love righteousness and hate wickedness, their God, your God, has anointed you with the oil gladness above His fellows (Psalms 45:7).
The indwelling joy of God’s presence is often felt as life giving peace. There is also a joy that erupts from within like a volcano with hilarious laughter. As a teacher, whenever the Lord moves, I want to know not only the Biblical basis, but also why this is taking place, His purpose and how I can impart it to others. The following are anointing’s, divine tributaries of God, that when combined with joy creates waves of blessings that flow like cascading rapids of a white capped roaring river.
1 – Christ – the Abiding Word
God has given to us a wealth of resources. We have the gift of the Holy Spirit. But also the Word of Christ who dwells richly within (Colossians 3:16). Our heart is a vault that contain the treasures of His revealed Word. First, it comes as a seed form that contains the DNA of the fullness of Christ. As the Holy Spirit unfolds their truth, over time we mature in the grace of His understanding and wisdom.
God is imparting fresh oil to the Word. There is truly life in His Word. Jesus said, “My Words are Spirit and they are life” (John 6:63). In time, we become a tree of life with branches that bear the eternal fruit of Christ – The Word of God. This is the Word that we live by and minister to others. I am not referring to theology, or memorized Scripture but the revealed Word of God – Jesus. His truth imparts life and renews the spirit of our mind. There is a vast difference between teachings about God and revealing Christ, for it is “Christ in you the hope of glory “ (Col. 1:27).
2 – The Heart of God
God is imparting the anointing to reveal the Father’s heart to His people. It is by knowing the Father and His heart that our hearts become like His. The abiding living Word comes from years of listening to the heart of Abba Father that enlightens our heart in the knowledge of Him (Eph. 2:17). The Father of glory is fathering His sons and daughters into His glory. It is by beholding His glory that we are changed into the same image, even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Cor. 3:18). God is relational. His desire is that we know His thoughts and His love that we may have His heartbeat.
To carry the Father’s heart is a precious gift. When the Father’s heart is revealed His people hear His voice. To those with His heart are now being anointed with fresh oil to reveal Him in their midst. Like Jesus when He walked this earth, that others may see the Father though His anointed ministers.
Now to put this all together, as I teach, I listen for the voice of the Spirit. To hear the thoughts He desires to bring forth from the truths stored in the vault of my heart. Embracing the model of Jesus, I listen to hear what the Father is saying. This becomes a word of knowledge as to that which He desires to convey to the people.
God has a heart and His heart has a voice. As I speak His words, the Sprit anoints them. The people then hear the anointed Truth AND the HEART of Abba Father. Jesus said to see me is to see the Father. This too is our call.
As we speak the truth that which we received from the Father’s heart that resides in the vault of our heart, the Holy Spirit anoints the Words. What the people hear is the Truth that reveals the heart of the Father to them.
3 – Now Add to this God’s Love
The Father’s love is to be most desired. Being filled with His love is the pathway to being filled with the fullness of God (Eph. 3:19). Rather than to seek power, seek His love and power will flow because of His love. The Fathers heart, His Truth and His love, are three anointing’s, that when combined, can ignite cities with the fire of His presence, shake Nations, raise the dead and heal the multitudes. His love is the fruit we partake daily from our walk of intimacy.
One of my first experiences as a new Christian occurred during a time of worship. As I went into a trance, I raised my left hand towards heaven. Suddenly, a portal of heaven opened. My heavenly Father reached down and grasped my hand. A river of love filled my entire being with His Holy Spirit. I then heard Abba Father proclaimed, “Welcome home son.” I knew then that heaven was my home.
Since then on many occasions, God has filled my heart with His love to overflowing. His love is a gift that keeps on giving. There have been times when my heart has received so much of His love, I literally grasp for air. God is love. As the scriptures tell us, as we abide in His love God abides in us. AND, as He is in heaven, so are we on earth – that of love (1 John 4:16-17).
It was the prayer of Jesus for the same love the Father gave to Him, would also be in us (John 17). As we are filled with the Fathers love and Jesus love for the world, we are transformed by their love to love others the way they do, thus fulfilling Romans 5:5, “The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Spirit given to us.”
In order to receive greater Kingdom authority with an increased anointing in this season of promotion, love must be the motive for all that we do. Without love, we are merely ministering in our gifting, titles and the wisdom of men, rather than the heart of the Father in the power and demonstration of the Spirit (1 Cor. 2:4).
A fresh anointing is being released to minister THE TRUTH with an IMPARTATION OF HIS LOVE that originates from HIS HEART. We continually hear testimonies by those that hear the messages; their hearts are awakened by the power of His love. Some experience an inner explosion as well as an expansion of the Spirit of the Lord.
Thus, as we minister the Truth that originates from His heart in love, the people HEAR His voice. Because the truth is spoken in love and God is love, His love awakens their heart with the Truth that sets them free. His love also fills them to overflowing with the life of His presence with abounding joy.
4 – Anointed With Fullness of Joy
Many times as I am anointed by the Spirit to release His thoughts to others in love, rivers of joy gush up from my inner most being. It is the joy that comes from being in the Lord. This is the fullness of joy Jesus knew when He walked this earth doing that which pleased His Heavenly Father.
This is the same fullness of joy that Jesus spoke of to His disciples when He said, “These things I have spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you and you’re your joy might be full” (John 15:11).
This is the same fullness of joy the apostle John knew from his fellowship with the Father and His Son (1 John 1:3-5). You cannot help but be filled with joy when you learn to live life from the place of God’s heart, hearing His voice abiding in His love. As David proclaimed, “You will show me the path of life: in your presence there is fullness of joy; (Psalms 16:11.
God takes great pleasure in you! It is written “The Lord your God in the midst of you is mighty; He will save: He will rejoice over you with joy, He will rest in His love, He will joy over you with singing (Zeph. 3:17). It is through intimacy with our heavenly Father and His Son, that we hear the joyful sound that causes our feet to dance and our hearts to rejoice for “Blessed are those that know the joyful sound: they shall walk oh Lord in the light of your countenance (Psalms 89:15),
It is this pathway of responding to the call to go through the process that God is anointing His people with fresh oil. Truly, as Jesus prayed to the Father that we would receive the same glory that He had that we may become one, that in the unity of the Spirit, results in fullness of joy
WHAT A POWERFUL COMBINATION of His Truth, His Heart, His Love and His joy. In this Kingdom atmosphere, people happily bask in His presence at the Lord’s Table. Feasting on the revealed truth of His Word hearing the heartbeat of their heavenly Father, they break out with joy that fills them with the life of His refreshing presence,
“For the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Spirit” (Romans 14:17).
The River Keeps Flowing
As the Spirit moves, I try to stay focused on the mission to reveal the Father’s heart, His purpose and His truth. In doing so the river of life with His joy just keeps on flowing. The anointing fades when people focus on receiving the blessing rather than embracing the Father’s heart to draw closer to Him.
Never let manifestations distract you from the main mission, otherwise you end up with a party- like event rather than life changing encounters. The purpose of God’s glory is not to make our meetings better, but to transform us into His image and to draw us closer to Him. We can be childlike without being childish.
We are not two years olds in diapers that giggle and laugh, dance when we are happy and throw fits and complain when we are upset or angry. But as mature adults we can be childlike without being childish, free to be who we are created to be – joyful sons and daughters of the most high.
A New Season
We are in a new season. The old has passed away and nothing is the same. A fresh anointing with joy is giving new life to your gifts and talents. Whether it is in business, finance, politics, education, or ministry, when our hearts are aligned with the heartbeat of heaven walking in obedience to fulfill His purpose and call, the results is the joy of the Lord.
For those who have gone through a tough season in 2017 and accepted the challenge will now experience their time of promotion.
The wind of the Spirit is moving. The Lord is going before you with favor blowing away every hindrance that is keeping you from accomplishing your task. An alignment is taking place in relationships that will enable His people to move together in unity with the freedom to be all He has called and created them to be. As the Lord has admonished, “Watch what I do!”
The year 2018 is a continuation of 2017. But at the same time, it is an entirely different year than 2017. It’s not the time to step down or back away, but the time to step up and fulfill your call and destiny. The veil between heaven and earth is getting thinner. It’s time to align our heart with the heartbeat of heaven.
