Christ is King of His Kingdom. Now if Jesus said that the Kingdom of God is within you (Luke 17:21), then the economy of His Kingdom lies within His people. It is the prayer of Jesus for His authority, power, and provision to be revealed “on earth as in heaven. “ It is our call as a new creation in Christ to prosper in every area of life; especially the inner man for it is “Christ in you the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27).
Jesus gave to us the key to prosperity when He said, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you” (Mt. 6:33). As we seek His Kingdom, the nature and realm of His Kingdom become our inheritance. Our minds are renewed with the wisdom, revelation, and knowledge of Christ. Our hearts are filled with the Father’s love and our spirit saturated with the life of His Spirit. From the place of intimacy as we abide in His presence, our soul is filled with the life and joy of the Lord. As King David so eloquently stated,
You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand, there are pleasures forevermore (Psalms 16:11).
Now if Jesus said that the Kingdom of God shall be in you, and it is Christ in you the hope of glory, then all that is in heaven is available to His people here on earth. As it is written, “God shall provide ALL YOUR needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus,” (Phil. 4:19).
As our inner man is enlarged with the divine nature, power and authority of Christ and His Kingdom, we become enriched with the light, love, and life of heaven that manifest the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Jesus by us in every place (1 Cor. 2:14). Whether it is in business, family, politics or investments, it is to the glory of God for His people to prosper in every area of life.
This includes healing, miraculously feeding the multitudes, pharmaceutical discoveries that heal all nature of diseases, discovering deposits of gold and silver that will bring prosperity to this Nation, creative witty inventions and so on.
Rather than seek for an outpouring, it is God’s heart for you and me to become the outpouring. This outpouring is the result of the overflow from our daily infilling. It is the overflow of His life in us, that enables us to minister in the power and demonstration of the Spirit. It is the light and life of God that empowers us to shed His love to others by His Spirit given to us (Ro. 5:5). It is the faith that works by love that reveals His grace and provision of heaven in us and to those around us.
It is this economy of the true riches of heaven that will attract Nations to come to partake of the light of your rising. As we shine as a light to the world, even the wealth of the nations will be given to us (See Is. 60:1-11). It is not about our prosperity, our Church life, spiritual gifts, our titles or the size of our ministry or congregation, but Christ and His Kingdom. As we seek first the Kingdom of heaven ALL the true riches and blessings of heaven that is our inheritance in Christ Jesus, shall be ADDED unto you.
I love this Scripture that records the Prayer of the Apostle Paul for the Church at Ephesus,
That the God our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory may give unto you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. That the eyes of your understanding (heart) may be enlightened to know what is the hope of His calling and the RICHES OF THE GLORY OF HIS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS. And to know the greatness of His power to us who believe… (Eph. 2:17-19)
It is the passion of the Father of Glory that we know the riches of Christ glory IN the saints that is our inheritance. The Apostle Paul goes on to declare that Jesus has risen and sits at the right hand of the Father FAR ABOVE all principalities, power and might, and dominion. And has placed Christ as the head of His body that we may be filled with all the fullness of Him (See verses 20-23).
Together as one, we are ordained to reveal the fullness of Christ as the “All in All.” The time will come and has come, where we shall see wonders as the earth has never seen before. The call of every believer is to “Rise and shine for your light HAS come and His glory HAS risen upon you.”
